America's Favorite Pastime

I started America's Favorite Pastime struggling with what it means to be an American in this day and age.   America's Favorite Pastime is a rather bold statement.   Every time I hear those words I think of baseball, also our loss of innocence.   I turned to who we are today as a people and a nation.   I am convinced America's Favorite Pastime is escalation, it's keeping up with the Joneses, winning at any cost.
