How the Institute for Nearly Genuine Research is Funded

• Federal Grants ~ The Institute will formally apply for a $2.4 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).   If approved, this grant will cover virtually all operating expenses for the next eighteen months or so.

• Pharmaceutical Profits ~ The Institute would like to announce that we've been awarded unrestricted educational grants in the $50,000 to $100,000 range from the following drugmakers.   In fact, we'd love to announce it.

  • Eli Lilly and Company , maker of Strattera , Cymbalta , Zyprexa , and Prozac
  • Pfizer, Inc., maker of Geodon and Zoloft
  • Janssen Pharmaceutica , maker of Risperdal
  • GlaxoSmithKline , maker of Paxil and Requip

• Speaker's Fees ~ the Institute's founder and executive director, Dr. M. I.
